The word *nīvi* is also remarkable. It is the name of the tape with which drawers (*pāyajāmā*) or the petticoat (*ghāgrā*) is tied round the waist. It could not have had an existence in the language if there had been no *pāyajāmā* or *ghāgrā* to tie.
