v2.c16.169
14th Line,—“*sinevasi kariti terasa mava (sata?) vasesu pancala (pabata?) vijaya chakoa kumaripasange, arahata paranavasanta pi kamani sidināya yapuravake ......* ‘in the year thirteen hundred married (Sanskrit : *prasaṅga*) with the daughter of the so-called conqueror of the mountains (a hill *rāja*)—’ the rest is obscure but seemingly declaratory of some presents to priests.” Here as in a preceding line the year is probably the thirteenth of the reign and not thirteen hundred : the word *arahata*, Arhat, also occurs here.
