**Lalatendra Kesari Cave :—**Immediately below the tank and at a short distance to the right, there is a large cave called Lalāṭendra Keśarī Gumphā, where the mortal remains of Rājā Lalāṭendra of the Keśarī dynasty are said to lie at rest. The entrances to it are now closed, and I was not able to examine its interior. Exteriorly there is nothing of importance from an architectural point of view. I have no reason to suspect that it is other than a Buddhist cell. Close by this cave there are two or three small buildings with pyramidal roofs of modern construction.
