12. *Pavitrāropaṇi Yātrā.* This Yātrā takes place on the 14th of the waxing moon in Srāvaṇa, (July-August) or just a month after the last. It is celebrated at midday, when, after some ritual observances, and amidst a good deal of singing and music, a new Brahmāṇical cord is presented to the divinity.
