v2.c17.79
At the north-east corner of the wall there is a small pavilion, built of stones on the top of the wall, and accessible by a flight of stone steps from the inside. The structure was erected at the same time as the wall, and appears to have been intended for a *Nuhabat-khāna* or music-room; but it is now used for religious purposes. It is called *Bhet Maṇḍapa* and an image of Pārvatī is placed in it to offer welcome to Bhuvaneśvara, the lord of the universe, on his return after the car festival.
