14. *Pārśva-parivartana Ekādaśi.* The eleventh of the waxing moon in the month of Śrāvaṇa is supposed to be the day when Viṣṇu in his sleep turns to the right side and it is celebrated by a special service, the most important part of which consists in the priests turning on their right sides the metal images placed in bed on their backs on the night of the Śayana. The festival does not excite much enthusiasm and is not celebrated with any great eclat.
