∗ अर्धाङ्गचलितं बिम्बमर्धचित्रमिति स्मृतम् । सर्वावयवसन्दष्टं.... चित्रमुच्यते ॥ The Tamil commentary on this passage runs as follows:—எல்லா அவயங்களும் ஷண்மானத்தினாலே அளவுபட்டது சித்திரமென்று பெயராம், ‘that which is measurable by the six ways of measurement is called *chitram*.’ निम्नोनतपटे भित्तौ लिखित्वाभास-मुच्यते ॥
