v2.c16.s7.96
The first dance is the action of matter—material and individual energy. This is the arch, tiruvāsi, Omkāra, the dance of Kāḷi. The other is the Dance of Śiva—the akshara inseparable from the Omkāra—called ardhamātra or the fourth letter of the Praṇava, Chaturtam and Turīyam. The first dance is not possible unless Śiva wills it and dances Himself.
