A special point regarding these temples is that while Kailāśa, Garuḍa, Padma, Dvipa are reserved for Maheśvara, Viṣṇu, Brahmā, and Gaṇeṣa respectively and cannot be dedicated to the other gods, the other temples are the common property of all the gods.
