² Fully described and illustrated in *Ann. Rep. A. S., Ceylon, 1907*, pp. 17–24, 36, Pl. XVI–XIX, and plan. This purely Brahmanical building is locally miscalled the *Daḷadā Māligāwa*, or 'Shrine of the Tooth Relic'. The fine Hindu bronzes described *post*, chap. vii, sec. 7 *b*, were found by digging a trench outside a southern extension of the eastern wall of the enclosure of this temple, to which they evidently belonged.
