¹ It is now in the Indian Museum, Calcutta. It was found on the bank of the Betwā, to the north-east of the town site (Cunningham, *A. S. Rep.*, vol. x, p. 44). It is not included in Anderson's *Catalogue*. Several works of reference erroneously place Bhīlsā (Bhēlsā) in the Bhopāl State.
