Behind the rānī is a female attendant (dāsī) bearing a chaurī. Her complexion is fairish, and a circular decorative mark (bindī) is prominent on her forehead.¹ There is another female attendant sitting below the throne of the rānī and looking towards the Brāhman. The features of this attendant are somewhat difficult to make out.
