*Obv:* King standing to l., casting incense on altar; trident with fillet on stem above altar; king's left arm raised and passed through the loop of spear. Legend arranged vertically; under the arm *Chandra* perpendicularly, and outside spear (?), *gupta* perpendicularly. But of this latter word only the character *p* seemed distinct. Rodgers was inclined to read the word *Shāka*.
