Sub-multiples like half or quarter *Dīnāras* were rarely issued from the royal mints. So far we have discovered only one half-*Dīnāra* weighing 57.6 grains. No quarter *Dīnāra* or double-*Dīnāra* has so for been discovered. Quarter-*Dīnāras* were frequently issued by Kanishka and Huvishka and some rare double-*Dīnāras* of Wima Kadphises are known.
