The Numismatic society is indebted to Sir Ratan Tata Trust for a donation of Rs. 1,000, to N. M. Wadia Trust for a donation of Rs. 1500, to the U. P. Government for a donation of Rs. 1,500 given for the purpose of helping the Corpus scheme. The Union Government has also promised under certain conditions a donation of half the expenditure on the present volume, but subject to a maximum of Rs. 5,000. The Society desires to express its indebtedness to the above trusts and governments for their help.
