The Foundation for the Study of the Indian Tradition gave me a donation of Rs. 2,000 to do the work from the donation of the 1970 to the U. G. C. Government for a research in the field of the history of the Indian National Congress. The Union Government also provided me with a maintenance allowance for a period of two years to enable me to complete the work.
