A very curious coincidence of dates came accidentally to my notice during the past cold season. At Boram Deo in the Central Provinces I found several inscribed Sati Pillars, two of which gave the name of the year of the 60-year cycle of Jupiter in addition to the Samvat date. These two inscriptions are recorded as follows:—
