3rd February, Ś. 1403. Jambukeśvara inscription of the chieftain Vālaka-Kāmaya or Akkalarāja, probably a feudatory of one of the later kings of the First Vijayanagara dynasty. Though claiming to be the rightful successor of the Choḷas, his real connection with the dynasty is doubtful.—EI. iii, 72.
