𓂋 when final is preceded by 𓍿 13 times out of a total of 15. The proportion is so high as to suggest that it may stand in functional relationship to the 𓍿 it follows. It is perhaps the determinative of the word 'servant' (𓍿 𓂋). That in point of grammar and syntax the combination of 𓂋 𓍿 appears to hold the same position as 𓍿 simple is suggested by the fact that, like 𓍿 , when final it is liable to be followed by the determinative suffixes 𓇋 and 𓏏, 𓊪 (see Table XLIX, 11, 14).
