The evidence of the key sequence [symbol] R, [symbol] [symbol] R (see Table LVIII) shows that all the signs in Col. IV are simple variants. The last two forms, which are reversed, occur only in reversed writing. The first (or third ?) form may be regarded as earliest, [symbol] as latest.
