¹ It is interesting to note that in point of size and shape the bricks are similar to modern bricks, and quite different from the large square Babylonian brick. They resemble rather the bricks excavated by Professor Langdon at Jemdet Nasr. All the bricks are burnt. The finding of these perfectly-made, modern-looking bricks even at the lowest levels is one of the curiosities of Mohenjodaro.
