A single fragment from the occupation layers at Shahi-tump (of the Kulli Culture and earlier than the cemetery on the same site) is of hard grey ware with channelled incisions in straight lines and zig-zags, and belongs to a peculiar class of pottery imitating stone vessels, which is described later on. Similar fragments come from other sites in Baluchistan and the adjacent regions of Persia and Sistan.
