For the convenience of reference in this book I have altered slightly the nomenclature of the Rana Ghundai sequence into a form rather more convenient than that in the original publication of the site, and one which is in accordance with the general practice in describing such ancient stratified sites. Expressed in a table, this will be our key to the interpretation of the Zhob Cultures.
