In the Sind sites of Pandi Wahi and Ghazi Shah, where abundant occupational debris was found but no trace of buildings could be identified, it may be assumed that pisée was used exclusively and that it has (as at Quetta) disintegrated in the course of centuries. It is always possible, however, that mud bricks were in fact present, but unrecognized by the excavators.
