In addition to this information on the settlement sites, we are fortunate in having knowledge of two cemeteries, one in Baluchistan and one in Sind, both with pottery of the Nal phase, which in fact derives its name from the former site. The Sohr-damb of Nal was excavated on a fairly large scale, but at the Damb Buthi cemetery in Sind little work was done, and it is therefore to Nal that we turn for our fullest information on the burial rites of the culture.
