The blade industries in Sind, while certainly in part related to their counterparts in the Amri or later cultures, nevertheless have some claims to a Palaeolithic ancestry and a relatively ancient date. Other aspects of the flint industry are presumably introductions to the region from farther west with the earliest agriculturalists.
