A.D. 878–79. Ś. 800. The Noḷamba chief Mahēndra I. Gift to a Jaina temple at Dharmapuri (ancient Tagaḍūr) in Salem District (V. R. ii. Salem, 81; 348 of 1901). He is mentioned about this time in a village record in Central Mysore, which states his parentage. (E. C. xii. Si. 24.)
