Another copper-plate record was found at Koṇḍamuḍi, on the north-bank of the Krishna near its mouth which is reported to be in characters closely resembling those of the Mayidavōlu plates. It purports to have been issued in the tenth regnal year of Jayavarman Mahārāja, who was in his ‘Camp of Victory’ at Gūḍur, near by, at the time. It is not known who this Jayavarman was, but it is just possible that it may have been a name adopted by Bappa.¹ (Ep. Ind. vi. 315; V. R. ii. Guntūr, 838.)
