From No. 90 Mānavamma to 135 Sahāsamalla we are on safe ground, the date, A. D. 1200, for the latter being 'absolutely certain' (*Dr. Hultzsch in J. R. A. S. 1913, p. 518*). With this dictum Mr. Wijesinha Mudaliar concurs.
