¹ Pallava inscriptions confirm the fact of their king's war against the W. Cāḷukyas, but state that Pallava Paramēśvara I defeated ‘Raṇarasika’ at Peruvaḷa-Nallūr. For the three Pallava kings see E. I. x, 100. Vikramāditya was close to Trichinopoly on April 25, A. D. 674.
