(2) The *Laṅkāvatārasūtra*² on the date of Vyāsa, the Bhāratas (viz. the Kauravas and Pāṇḍavas), and the Nandas—*mayi nirvr̥te varṣa-śate*, ‘100 years [after] my (the Buddha’s) death,’ i.e. between 101 and 200 years after the Parinirvāṇa.
