The charters of the Bhauma-Kara dynasty of Orissa generally have two small lists of addressees making a distinction between the officers of the kingdom and those of the district in which the gift land was situated. Thus the Santiragrāma grant¹ of queen Daṇḍimahādevī includes the *Mahāsāmanta*, *Rājasatka*, *Rājaputra*, *Kumārāmātya*, *Auparika*, *Viṣayapati*, *Tadāyuktaka*, *Dāṇḍapāśika* and *Sthānāntarika* in the first list and, in the second, the *Mahāmahattara*, *Bṛhadbhogin*, *Pustakapāla* and *Kūṭakolasa*, to whose *adhikaraṇas* or offices the royal order is stated to have been addressed.
