The Anulia plate⁵ speaks of the area of a plot of land as 1 Pāṭaka 9 Droṇas 1 Āḍhavāpa 37 Unmānas and 1 Kākinī. According to the Gunaighar plate,⁶ a Pāṭaka was equal to 40 Droṇavāpas (i.e. 5 Kulyavāpas). Thus here a land measure much bigger than the Kulyavāpa and Droṇavāpa is found in use.⁷
