These tiny seals have no knob or hole, and do not bear the "unicorn" or other major animals of the larger series. Most of them have a line of roughly scratched pictograms on one side and a symbol resembling VII, VIII, VIIII, IIV, IIIV, or IIIIV on the other. Occasionally a crocodile or a fish is shown, and, more rarely still, a goat or a hare, whilst four examples bear a "standard" or incense-burner of the kind associated with the "unicorn". Whether these distinctive little seals were related to other cultural variations is not recorded but is worth further investigation by careful digging.
