Two other megalithic monuments in the north may be noted: an irregular group of standing-stones in the vicinity of Srinagar, Kashmir,⁹⁵ and a circle of standing-stones about ten feet high near the village of Asota, seventeen miles east-north-east of Mardan in the former North-west Frontier Province.⁹⁶
