2. *Suvarṇa*. Pāṇini does not name the *suvarṇa* coin, but the same is implied in *sūtra Hiraṇya-parimāṇaṁ dhane* (VI. 2. 55), which refers to a person's wealth in terms of coined gold, *e.g. dvi-suvarṇa-dhanam* (*Kāśikā*).
