⁴ Vīra Baḷḷāḷa anointed his son with the style Vira Vijaya Virūpāksha Baḷḷāḷa. The new capital bears this name also in this record. Compare with these the statement of Ferishta that the Baḷḷāḷa called the city after his son's name Beeja. Briggs I. 427.
