This claim is well attested by the existence of his inscriptions in the Trichinopoly and the Tanjore districts and in the Pudukoṭṭa State, in addition to Madura and Tinnevelly. He also assumed the title Śoṇāḍu-Vaḷangiyaruḷiya (who was graciously pleased to present the Chola country).
