Soon after 888 A.D., the Gujrat branch came to an end. The reasons for its disappearance are not yet known. On the one hand, we do not know of any successor of Kṛṣṇarāja and on the other, we find that Kṛṣṇa II and Indra III were directly administering Southern Gujarat.
