This is conventional praise; we know that Kṛṣṇa's rule did not extend beyond Banavāsi 12,000 and so his army could not have reached Cape Kamorin. Similarly his soldiers could not have entered the waters of the Ganges as the Gurjara Pratihāra rule was firmly established in the Ganges vally.
