Now there was no necessity of specifying the precise dimensions of the flower garden, situated in the village Taleyur, if the grant of the village meant the grant of the entire land within its boundaries. The separate mention of this garden and of its precise dimensions shows that the proprietary rights in the soil were transferred to the temple only with reference to this small plot of land. Item No. 3 above further shows that when it was the case of transferring proprietary rights in soil, the state could usually give only small pieces scattered over different villages, and not entire villages themselves.
