It is clear from this verse that the statues were transported from Kanchi to ‘here’ i e, Mālkhed from where the plates were issued. It is, besides, very unlikely that Govinda would have ever thought of erecting these *Kīrtistambhas* at Kāñchī which he had only temporarily occupied.
