v1.c10.19

Practically no information exists about Neoliths discovered of any part of Orissa save and except the recent find of "shouldered" axes found in the hill district of the Mayurbhañja State. The Indian Museum, Calcutta and Central Museum, Madras, contain the best collection of Pre-historic Antiquities of this country, but none of them contain a single Neolith which can be definitely regarded as belonging to any part of Northern, Central, or Southern Orissa, including the districts of Vizagapatam, Godāvarī and Kṛṣṇa.
