The inclusion of the 10th century fragments in the composition of the arrangement of pillars and bas-reliefs proves that this, at least, was no part of the 6th century structure and it is quite possible that the arrangement was done in the 18th or even the 19th century. Therefore these carvings can hardly be called " Sculptures from the base of the Vishnu temple, Deogadh, Lalitpur district. Gupta, 5th century ".¹
