² According to other accounts Sankha, a Broach chieftain, took up the cause of a certain Sayad or Mussalman merchant with whom Vastupala had quarrelled. In the fight Lunapala a Gola, one of Vastupala's chief supporters, was slain and in his honour Vastupala raised a shrine to the Lord Lunapala. Ras Mala (New Edition), 201-202.
