¹ Al Idrisi in Elliot's History of India, I. 9. The Balháras or Ráshtrakútas lost their power in A.D. 974. The only explanation of Idrisi's (A.D. 1100) Balháras at Anhilwára is that Idrisi is quoting from Al Bírúni A.D. 950.
