The next grant that requires notice is that of Nagaravardhana, who describes himself as a son of Pulakesi's brother Jayasraya, though Dr. Bhagvanlal believes him to be a grandson of Pulakesi's son. Mr. Fleet points out other difficulties connected with this grant, yet on the whole decides in favour of its genuineness (see Ind. Ant. IX. 123).
