The identification is not satisfactory. Except the Bachesara settlement of Kotenca, perhaps the well known village in Brahman settlement of Mota, which is mentioned as being to the west of the village on the north-east, none of the boundary villages can be identified in the neighbourhood of Palsana. It is quite of the year Palsana in close vicinity to Bagumra where the grant was found make this identification.
