Gujarāt branch, perhaps by Kṛṣṇa's namesake the donor of the A.D. 888 Bagumrā grant. The Dakhan Kṛṣṇa seems to have triumphed over his Gujarāt namesake; henceforth South Gujarāt or Lāṭa was permanently included in the territory of the Rāṣṭrakūṭas.
