The famous Nāsik inscription, in which the queen Balasri, mother of Gautamiputra and grandmother of Vāsishthiputra Puḷumāvi, tells us that her son destroyed the Sakas, is dated in the 19th year of the reign of her grandson Puḷumāvi (Ep. Ind. Vol. VIII., p. 61).
